The BEC exacure installation at the Australian Synchrotron on Channel 9 News! In Melbourne our robotic patient positioning system (KUKA KR270) supports producing superior quality 3D images on breast cancer tissue samples. It involves a 12 second scan of the woman's breast which produces 1800 lose dose images to create a detailed 3D map of the breast.
We are very excited to collaborate with ICD / Institute for Computational Design and Construction | University of Stuttgart (icd.uni-stuttgart.de) on TIM - a mobile robotic timber construction platform. More to come soon!

Every two years, the robotics world meets at the Automatica Expo in Munich/Germany. BEC paticipated this year with exhibits at two booths. In addition to the two research projects RosyLerNT (robotic strength training) and RobExReha (robotics training for rehabilitation), also the new developed BEC Coaster was presented for the first time in Europe.
In cooperation with the leasing company JobRad, BEC GmbH has been offering its employees the opportunity to lease a bike or E-bike of their choice for 36 months. After this period, the employee has the option to buy the bike on favorable terms or to lease a new model. The leasing rates are settled directly via the monthly salary. Thanks to the preferential taxation, employees can save about 30 percent compared to a direct purchase.
On 18 April 2018 we presented our company for the first time at TIC Career Day at the Reutlingen University. The students were impressed by our unusual product portfolio and the possibilities of human-robot collaboration. To interested and committed students from the fields of mechanical engineering, medical technology, computer science, software engineering or comparable engineering sciences we offer the possibility to do a practical semester or thesis.

On the ITEC from 28. - 30. April 2016 is has been the first time, that visitors of a show were actually able to test the BEC robotic motion simulator live. BEC offered to a selected group of training and simulation specialists to test the helicopter simulator on the show. We were honestly impressed by the number of visitors and the encouraging feedback on the simulator flight experience.
